Even 32,000 years ago, humans were fashion conscious as illustrated by this cave painting of a young, family. Evidently, grass skirts were “in” at that moment in time.

Fashion is one of the distinctive features of Group Portrait Maker (GPM). From the earliest focus groups, users were attracted to GPM because of the ability to select and edit garment choices for their caricatures. All PERSONs in portrait SCENEs are separate objects and can be edited separately. Swapping garment types, styles and seasons is enabled through the voice activated UI. Moreover, each garment item can be addressed separately, e.g. “Change Mary’s scarf to light warm gray alpaca.”

Season appropriate graments: The GPM app will identify the location by GPS data and check the date/season for the appropriate assignment of garments based on climate. Winter in Anchorage would be different than Summer in Miami.

Body Shape and Size: GPM’s neural net algorithyms can recognize a person’s body features, shape and size. The PERSON generator will assign both male and female body sprecfications to each user’s database records. The basic XXS,XS,S,M,L,XL,XXL scale will be used and then depending on gender, basic body shape and chest size.

Hair: A major component of fashion and a person’s overall identity is related to hair. Hair color, style, length, texture can be recognized by GPM and the appropriate types will be assigned. User’s may edit their hair style and colors.

Browzwear
Grove OZ Biz, LLC is a Development partner with Browzwear Pte. Ltd. Using the API in VStitcher, the GPM team will generate male and female body sizes for each garment in its virtual wardrobe. The full range of sizes includes 15 female, 10 male and several children sizes. The BMI/body type recognizer in GPM will assign body attributes to each user during their first caricature generation. User editing is permitted while editing in the PERSONeditor.

Future developments of GPM using Browzwear/VStitcher include generating a new data model in which poses, season and garment type can be labeled and managed more effectively.
